A brilliant burst of fire; a flame.
The Israelites knew God as this—an inferno of fire in the sky. When darkness surrounded them, he was there to lead them to the Promised Land.
God is still leading us to the Promised Land through the BLAZE of his promises. After 2000 years, his words still have deep meaning. He is lamp that lights our paths, the faithful bridegroom and the loving forgiver of our sins. His character never changes, and his mercy never ends.
Lord,
You are the blaze that warms my heart. You daily light my paths God and lead me from the darkness into light. I can see your promises. You, God, are faithful. The fire in your eyes is never extinguished. You set my soul ablaze.
