My Walk in Photos
I am convinced beyond a shadow of any doubt that the most valuable pursuit we can embark upon is to know God. - Kay Arthur

These Boots Were Made for Walking
Yes - I've always wanted brown boots. Now, fall is upon us here in Washington, DC and it's time to take out all the woolly sweaters, fuzzy hats and of course - BOOTS. I found these Steve Madden boots online - at shoes.com at $149.00 + free shipping. I think that's pretty much a steal considering these are pretty nice boots and you can wear them all season - rain, shine or snow (but, don't forget the scotch guard!!!)
Ladies - I'm ordering them today. There are countless outfits you can create by just throwing on a pair of these classic brown boots. And, as a plus, for the shorter women (I would include myself in this category) this style has a little wedge - to give you a little additional height.

The Great Morning Walk
Every morning - Dallas and I wake up and go on a little walk around my Capitol Hill neighborhood. Without fail, he lays in bed until I decide to get up. This morning it was about 6:30am - when we hit the block.
Dallas is always so excited when I put on my workout clothes - complete with a disheveled bun and a make-up free face. He calmly sits by the door when I pull out his leash. And looks so proud when I fasten the buckle to his collar.
It's basically fall in Washington, DC though there are multiple flowers sprinkled throughout yards - the weather is brisk and the morning air is cool on my face. (Have to wear a sweatshirt). Love the fall - it's my favorite season by far. I'm definitely ready for a pumpkin spice latte!
